Hi! I’m a Henderson, North Carolina-based photographer specializing in environmental lifestyle portraiture. What does that mean? Essentially, photos that incorporate the surrounding area into the look and feel. That encompasses a bit, including events, engagement sessions, modeling portfolios, and even weddings. As noted above, I specialize  in lifestyle portraiture. To be more thorough, this combines the art of traditional portrait photography that you trust with a contemporary style that speaks uniquely to who you are as a person. We will collaborate together on the shoot to create photos that portray you as an individual (or as a family). Whether you prefer to accomplish that in the studio or outside on location is up to you. Many photographers will use pre-made sets or pre-determined locations that leave very little room for customization. Rather than receiving photos that look like everyone else’s, let’s create something special to you.

I am a low volume photographer. I prefer to get to know my clients and help them express who they are in their photo session. When you book with me, you will be my number one priority. No need to feel like just another number and  rushed to be finished in time for the next person that’s already waiting. My focus is on you and creating your photos that you will treasure for the rest of your life.

Please note that I am by appointment only. If you are in the downtown area and I’m at the studio, please feel free to stop by for a chat. However, I generally do not schedule on-the-spot shoots. You’ll get the most out of it when we’ve had time to discuss what you’re looking for and plan out what we’re going to do. Walk-ins are great if you’re just looking for a commemorative snapshot, but unfortunately that’s not what I do. I create artistic photos that you will want to display and cherish for years to come.
